First day at McDonalds

Okay today (31/12/12) is the day I start working for McDonalds and also the first day of my job experience... ever!
I felt like doing 'diary' entries on how it goes for me and my overall experience up until I decide to quit.

Firstly can I say it took the hiring lady 3 weeks to call me back, in fact I didn't get a call as she said, I had to check online constantly to see if I was even rostered.

SO my first shift is today (3hrs) and note I have a few school friends working there already so I am intimidated as hell haha. YES, I am that type of person who gets easily intimidated in new and unknown situations and I am also crazy nervous. Like, I don't want to go into work and be like "hey, today is my first day working here and i haven't received my uniform yet and I was told to speak to _____ or _____ about it?" Actually that is exactly what i have to say because I don't have a uniform yet D:

Anyway on with my first day....
I got there and asked for the manager and basically said what I wrote above. Got inside the crew room to get given a uniform to find there were no more girls pants in my size... i have to wear boys pants from now until they get more. Also no hair nets left for me and aprons...

I met my crew trainer (she told me she had been working there for 6 fucking years OMG) and first we worked on the modules on metime for the back area - frying stuff.

Basically what I did for the on-floor stuff was doing the frying for things like chicken and fish and also apple pies and how and also when to check if i need more (which I have sort of forgotten haha). I also was shown how to wash the trays (which can get damn hot sometimes) and clean the floors with this massive blue floor cleaner machine thingy which was super embarrassing to do lol

Then basically was tested on the tests which I failed like twice but thats okay I was allowed to do them again  (hate their modules btw).

Overall I did not like the idea of working here. Yes, the training was good (except I completely forgot to ask what to do when I arrive again for my second shift...guess I'll just sit and wait in the crew room), the experience of learning was also good except yeah I didn't want to work in the back. This is what makes me want to quit ASAP

If you like putting things in fryers, waiting for the beepers, taking them out, emptying them into the trays, putting them into the UHC things, checking them constantly to see if you think you need more, cleaning the floors around you, wiping areas around you and also being the awkward newbie like me then you are welcome to take my job. Well I'll see how it goes and stick it out for 6-7 months maybe more then quit. I honestly don't see myself working here for 6 years

2013 New Years Resolution~

Everytime I make new years resolutions I never follow through with them, however this year because it literally is a new start for me (uni, first job etc) I want to do it!! Lili you better do this!!!!

1. Lose Weight ... yeah you make this resolution all the time -.- do it for once girl! (hopefully drop back into the 50s?)

2. Make at least one or two new friends (yes, mainly because I want to make uni friends, work friends, any other friends and I think I'm generally bad at this) blogger friends anyone?

3. Create a unique blog design alone... or with the help of my bf haha

4. Save up $1000 cash (only from money earned at work or things like bday money) by the end of the year

5. Lastly, possibly gain more readers and followers on blogger

Hopefully I can fulfill this? We'll see by the end of the year :) and also happy new year me!! may 2013 have less drama than your last 2 years of high school lol

Koda Kumi Vivi December 2012 Eye Make

Hello as I said and also because of my boredom I decided to do a Koda Kumi sort of eye makeup as seen in the December issue of Vivi magazine 2012.

NOTE: As you will notice clearly haha my end result did not end up as dark as KK's makeup was mainly because it was day time and i was going out so it wasn't as suitable but feel free to darken it up to your liking :)

1. Prime your eyes (like always) and then select a black shadow (I'm using blackout from my naked palette 2)

Then you should apply eyeshadow lightly, with a small amount (as a lot of black eyeshadow is A LOT) on your lid up to your crease

So When I open my eyes it should look like this:

Still quite light but you can darken if you like

2. Apply some more black shadow in the shape on your lid as shown in the pic below - this is the cat eye she has

3. If you should find the shape of your eyeshadow is not 'cat eye' then this is what you can do to 'sharpen' it up. Just grab a moistened facial wipes and drag it in the direction of the arrows to create a sharper look.

4. Apply liner like so and also curl and apply mascara on top + bottom lashes

(Note if you wanted you could blend the black shadow out with a light brown shadow which you can slightly see on Koda Kumi's eyes)

5. Select a pair of natural looking lashes or you could use individual lashes and apply them. 

AND YOUR DONE

Okay so I actually did make a post as a test earlier but this is an actual, official one haha.

I plan to do a makeup tutorial for the Koda Kumi eye look in the December issue of Vivi magazine of this year. (I actually only just ordered the December issue and January issue last week and it came today! Quite fast shipping from yesasia!! Also I just checked back on the site to see that the Feb issue has been released already?! I only just got the Jan issue WTF?!?!)

Oh i also hope to have that post up by sometime next week.

Please also excuse the fact that I will have to use my Iphone 4S to take photos haha as I am saving up for the Casio Exillium ZR1000 (which I will have to buy off ebay lol).

Just a quick post about life atm too which you probably wont care about lol,  I recently applied for a job... maybe not recently haha but I was offered it and told I would be given a call to go to work 2 1/2 weeks ago!!!! I had to do some online training and got paid for it today (actually my account totally stuffed up but the lady did say she would call :sadface: ) I'm going to call them tomorrow.

I also have no idea how to design the look of my blog atm (please bare with me? :S ) so this is what I'll have for awhile.
